We just verified a new sending domain on AutoSend and need to start sending to a 25k user list. How does AutoSend’s Gradual Send feature work to prevent Gmail and Yahoo spam filtering spikes?
Domain Warmup with AutoSend Gradual Send
Mailbox providers (Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo) assign a neutral reputation to new domains. Sending large email blasts immediately triggers rate limits and spam placement.
How AutoSend Gradual Send Automates Warmup
When creating marketing campaigns or launching announcements, AutoSend provides an automated Gradual Send scheduler that splits your recipient list across consecutive time intervals:
-
Daily Volume Caps:
- Day 1–3: 300 to 500 emails/day
- Day 4–7: 1,000 to 2,500 emails/day
- Day 8–14: 5,000 to 10,000 emails/day
- Day 15+: Full volume unlocked based on bounce rate (< 2%) and spam complaint rate (< 0.1%).
-
Enabling Gradual Send in Campaigns:
- In Campaign Settings, toggle Enable Gradual Send.
- Set the dispatch batch duration (e.g. 50 emails every 15 minutes).
- AutoSend handles queue throttling and pacing automatically.
Crucial DNS Setup Before Warmup:
Make sure your SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records are strictly verified:
- SPF Record:
v=spf1 include:amazonses.com ~all - DKIM: AutoSend 3 CNAME records verified in dashboard.
- DMARC: Start with
v=DMARC1; p=none; rua=mailto:dmarc-reports@yourdomain.com.
